Mother of Varghese Kurian, Pampady met with an road accident Saturday evening. A jeep hit her, and she is hospitalized at Matha Hospital, Kottayam with multiple fractures in hands and injuries on face etc. Only by the Grace of God, she was miraculously escaped from death. She has to undergo a surgery this Wednesday, 16 JAN 08. She aged and was just recovering from the recent Chikun gunia problems. Let us uphold this dear mother to the Throne of Grace for heavenly Grace and complete recovery.

Br. Mathew Abraham serving the Lord at Jagdalpur, Bastar, Chhattisgarh had suffered a brain stroke 10 months back (14 FEB 2007).Due to the blood clot in the brain he lost his speech and is paralyzed on the right side. After the treatment in various hospitals he is currently undergoing Physiotherapy in Mumbai in the home of their son Sam Mathew, who is serving the Lord in Mumbai. There is a slight relief from the pain but he is unable to attend to any of his personal needs. Please pray earnestly for the severe pain he has in his legs and also that he may be able to walk and talk again. Physiotherapy will be continued for another year. Other medications are still on.

We praise the Lord Jesus Christ for the measure of healing granted to His servant and convey our heartfelt gratitude to all the saints who are upholding us in their prayers. God willing after further treatment for 15 days we plan to return back to Jagdalpur, Bastar. On 29 Dec. 2007. Currently our youngest son Jim Mathew is serving the Lord with his family in Jagdalpur. We have been praying for Sister Sally, who is admitted in the Alappuzha Medical College due to a serious heart problem. By the grace of God and by the earnest prayers of saints, she is recovering to normal. According to doctors 60-70% improvement is seen. Pray fervently so that the Lord may give a complete recovery to dear sister to serve the Lord along with the Lord’s servant.

Sister Sally Wife Evg. Sebastian, Punnapra - Alappuzha is admitted in the Alappuzha Medical College due to a serious heart problem. They have a 3 months baby now after waiting many years. Urgent and earnest prayer is required for the survival of dear sister

A special request for evangelist Joshy Kuriakose and Maya Joshy. Joshy Kuriakose is scheduled to go to Balaji institute of surgery and research centre, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh on 06 NOV 07 for a major surgery. He is a handicap having problem on both legs, because of polio. Now it has affected the spinal chord and the doctors advised for a surgery.

His wife Maya is also having severe ailments in her body. She has various problems and already undergone seven surgeries. Still the pains and problems related to abdomen, uterus etc remain. They have three school going children. Let us uphold this dear family to the Throne of Grace for heavenly intervention, Grace and complete recovery.
