On Sunday, 20 JAN 08, Br. Babu Raj and a Team of 20 Brethren were doing a Village Gospel Ministry in Pollachi, Tamil Nadu by showing JESUS Film and sharing the Gospel, when a group of Anti-Gospel elements manhandled these brethren. Our Gracious Heavenly was so kind that these brethren did not suffer much physically as HE arranged the timely arrival of the Police, who took these brethren to the Police Station. In the Police Force there were Policemen favoring these brethren and opposing them. The Policemen opposing them managed to issue Non-bailable Arrest Warrant against 13 of these brethren. Let us uphold these brethren to the Throne of Grace for Heavenly intervention that these Police case and the problem associated with it is solved.(AVM)

Warm Christian greetings. In the will of God I came to Australia on 11th January. My meetings in Melbourne area are over and I came to Sydney on 18th. My meetings in Sydney and around are going on well.God willing I will move to several assemblies in Queensland from 30th January to 18th February. I hope to fly from Sydney to Tonga Tapu - an Island Kingdom in the Pacific near Fiji on 19th February. After ministering in the assemblies in that small country, I shall fly to New Zealand to minister for two weeks. I am to fly back to India on 10th March. All the above subject to God’s will. Kalapurackal Varghese Mani, Age 98yrs, went to be with Lord on 19/01/2008. He was one of the first brethren and  elder in Ullayam Brethren Assembly, Chamampathal, Vazhoor, Kerala.

God Willing the funeral will be on 22/01/2008 at Ullayam Brethren Assembley Semitery. He was grand father of Sheeba John (w/o Joseph John Turnbridgewells,Kent) UK

Let us uphold the  grieving family members to the Throne of Grace.  May the Lord bestow upon them  Heavenly Grace, Peace and Strength and console them with the Word of God.  Please pray  that God’s name be  glorified  through the funeral service

Please pray for Bro V. T. John Evangelist, Chandigarh. He is in a critical condition and admitted in a private hospital at Chandigarh on 13th January. Bro. V. T. John’s Kidneys, lungs and heart are not functioning very well. On 15th January, he was shifted to ” FORTIS ” another private hospital at Mohali near Chandigarh for better medical treatment. He is still serious as his Kidneys, lungs and heart are not functioning very well. Scan report shows that brain is fine. Let us continue to uphold this dear servant of the Lord to the Throne of Grace for heavenly Grace and complete recovery. Mrs. V.T. John is also physically feeling weak and praying much for the recovery of the Lord’s servant soon.

Br. James Titus, Evangelist serving the Lord, faithfully, for about 40 years, at Jullundur, Punjab, North India, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, 13 JAN 08.
We had been praying for Br. James Titus for quite some time. He was sick and physically very weak. Twice a week he had to go through dialyses as his kidneys had failed. In addition he got jaundice. After the best possible medical treatment in Kerala, he came back to his mission field in Punjab recently,but since he had not been keeping very well he was admitted in a private hospital at Jullundur. It was well pleasing to our Master to call HIS servant HOME, where there is no pain, no sorrow, no tears, no sickness and no death.

James Titus for quite some time. He was sick and physically very weak. Twice a weak he had to go through the dialyses as his kidneys have failed. In addition he got jaundice. Mother of Varghese Kurian, Pampady met with an road accident Saturday evening. A jeep hit her, and she is hospitalized at Matha Hospital, Kottayam with multiple fractures in hands and injuries on face etc. Only by the Grace of God, she was miraculously escaped from death. She has to undergo a surgery this Wednesday, 16 JAN 08. She aged and was just recovering from the recent Chikun gunia problems. Let us uphold this dear mother to the Throne of Grace for heavenly Grace and complete recovery.
